About MinWage Europe
MinWage Europe tracks statutory and collectively agreed minimum wages across 30 European countries — the 27 EU members plus the United Kingdom, Norway and Switzerland. Every figure is checked against Eurostat's minimum wage statistics (table earn_mw_cur), the European Commission's EURES 2026 review, Eurofound's national minimum wage compilation and the national authorities linked on each page, and the whole set is re-reviewed each half-year when Eurostat publishes its January and July snapshots.
We publish gross monthly amounts on the 12-month basis Eurostat uses for comparison, state the national-currency amount wherever one exists, and annualise the 14-payment systems (Spain, Portugal, Greece, Austria) explicitly. For the seven countries without a statutory rate we publish indicative lowest agreed levels with their limits — these are floors by contract, not law.
